NYC Youth Funders

New York City Youth Funders (NYCYF) is a coalition of philanthropic organizations seeking to improve the quality of life for young people living in New York City. Our programs and events bring together grantmakers working across diverse areas of interest including youth development, in-school and out-of-school programming, drop-out and summer learning loss prevention, career exploration, college prep and college access, juvenile justice, intergenerational programming, and more.

NYCYF is an affinity group recognized by Philanthropy New York and governed by a steering committee comprised of leaders in the philanthropic sector. We partner with Philanthropy New York and other affinity groups to co-sponsor events that are of interest to youth funders and those working in related fields.

Our work is made possible by foundation and corporate grants as well as individual member contributions.

It is through voluntary financial support that that NYCYF is able to provide ongoing professional development and information sharing opportunities for grantmakers working to improve the quality of life for New York City youth.
